Sticker Sheets: Cut Lines for Multiple Designs
2026-08-17
How to prepare a sticker sheet with several designs: individual contours, spacing, welding overlapping shapes and kiss-cut sheet edges.
One file, many contours
A sheet needs one closed cut path per sticker, not a single outline around everything. The generator detects separate elements automatically and gives each one its own contour, so you can adjust offsets individually.
Spacing rules
- Leave at least 4 mm between the cut lines of neighbouring stickers.
- Keep 5 mm clear of the sheet trim edge.
- Watch for offsets that merge two designs into one shape — reduce the offset instead of moving artwork if the layout is fixed.
Welding, ungrouping and deleting
- Weld: join deliberately overlapping elements into one sticker.
- Ungroup: split a detection that grabbed two designs at once.
- Delete: drop contours around decorative background elements you do not want cut.
- Every operation is undoable, so experiment before exporting.
Export
Export the whole sheet as a single PDF at the final sheet size. All contours come out magenta and stroke-only; the printer separates them automatically.
